For those desiring an ala carte tour experience The Richmond Tour Guys offers Half‐Day, Full‐Day and Multi‐Day
Custom driving tours waiting to be arranged to the customers desires. With so many Museums, Attractions and tour elements available to choose from and surrounding cities and areas to be seen, a Custom Experience Tour is sure to fit‐the‐bill.

HALF‐DAY DRIVING TOUR      4 to 5 hours      Prices start at $350 and depends on size of the group and vehicle used. This tour incorporates the “Overview Tour” as a basis for the driving portion and includes touring inside two
attractions from the list below. Some require an admission fee as indicated by $$.

FULL‐DAY DRIVING TOUR ‘A’      6 to 8 hours      Prices start at $500 and depends on size of the group and vehicle used. There are two options for a Full‐Day Tour. Option ’A’ incorporates the “Overview Tour” as a basis for the driving portion and includes touring inside three attractions from the list below. Some require an admission fee as indicated by $$. The three attractions are split between morning and afternoon with a break around the noon‐hour for lunch.

FULL‐DAY DRIVING TOUR ‘B’      6 to 8 hours      Prices start at $500 and depends on size of the group and vehicle used. The second option for a Full‐Day Tour, Option ’B’ incorporates the “Overview Tour” as a basis for the driving portion and includes touring inside one attraction choice from the list, for the morning portion of the tour. A break for lunch is then followed by a drive to one of the following; Jamestown, both the Settlement and Historic Jamestown to learn about the first successful English Colony beginning in 1607; Berkeley Plantation and the  Harrison Family, or Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, including a First Floor tour and a walk to learn about Jefferson’s slaves.

MULTI‐DAY DRIVING TOUR      6 TO 8 hours per day      Price will vary; please call 804 554 4865
The Richmond Tour Guys have created, with the guest’s input a number of two day tours to take‐in much that the Greater Richmond area has to offer. Basing yourself in Richmond, at least half of your first day can be Richmond‐ centered, then the remainder of Day One and all of Day Two can allow you to venture out to areas within an hours drive including to Charlottesville or down the James River to as far as Jamestown. It’s fun to discover plantations, Jamestown and its two locations or venture north, to Monticello and possibly one or two wineries on the return to Richmond. This is just one of the tours that can be developed as the possibilities are numerous. By calling our office  we would be pleased to together build the perfect tour sure to please.

CURATED TOURS

Over the years, The Richmond Tour Guys have been pleased to curate tours to meet the desires of a number of clients including, “New Hire” Familiarization Tours to provide an overview of the city together with neighborhoods where they may be moving to; “Author” Tours, that in two separate instances, provided insight to what the city would have looked like prior to and during the Civil War and for another, what the city would have been like during the late 1940’s and into the 1950’s; Family Tours where a grandmother lived during the 1960’s and places she worked, dined, etc for the family to gather and see these important locations. Numerous tours have been conducted for “Newcomers” who have decided to move to Richmond and want a sense of what the city is like. In short, we  specialize in creating these singular Curated Tours with a clients input, followed up by research and designing a  route to satisfy the desires to conduct an unforgettable tour.
